Job Description:

The primary role of the ICT Service Desk Engineer 1st line is providing first level support towards professional users. You will be answering questions, analyzing problems and come up with a solution for simple and complex incidents. Incidents can include printing problems, installing software, granting access to company resources, solving performance issues, etc. Problems are very diverse and challenging.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

·         Accurate identification of user problems via IT support tools and remote tools

·         Accurate and timely escalation of problems to specialist support teams

·         Correct identification of the cause of the problem and determination of the most suitable solution

·         Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved

·         Promotion of IT services to professional users

·         Contribute to document frequently occurring issues and their resolution



·         University degree (in computer applications) or you have a background in ICT

·         Express yourself fluently in both spoken and written English

·         Strong communicative skills

·         Previous experience in ICT user-support and client service is an asset

·         Willing to work in shifts

·         Knowledge of Microsoft products in general (Office 2010/2013, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008/2012 environment)

·         Familiar with hardware installations

·         Knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange environment is an asset

·         Motivation, discipline, well-structured and flexibility are your key characteristics
